Sarah wrote: “This is really hard. For anyone who doesn’t know, we lost our beautiful Rebecca Mack on Sunday to COVID-19. She was 29 and she was one of my best friends. It’s hard because I’m going to miss her so much, but also because every time a tear runs down my face I can hear her telling me to stop being such a ‘sloppy shit’.”
Her friend said: “Rebecca was a devoted friend and an incredible nurse. She was the most accident-prone, stubborn, chatterbox with a bizarre catchphrase and inappropriate joke for every occasion.”
Rebecca Colleagues said that she was an incredible person and today NHS lost an amazing and beautiful nurse. Rebecca was among the 14 nurses who died of coronavirus. Many people paid tribute to her.
