Frozen 2 actress Rachel Matthews has revealed she has coronavirus. The Los Angeles native, 26, quarantine herself after noticing symptoms last week.
Rachel is best known for voicing Honeymaren character in the Disney Franchise. Matthews notified her fan of her battle against novel coronavirus in a series of stories on Instagram.
Frozen 2 actress wrote: “Hey guys, I tested positive for COVID-19 and have been in quarantine the last week.” Rachel said she is not sure what to do next but she would ‘quarantine until told to do otherwise.’
Star urged her fans to be ‘mindful of their decisions. Matthews said she ‘was feeling better’ and would answer questions and share relevant information as she learned.
About coronavirus test, she revealed that the ‘The reality is they are INSANELY hard to come by. Our country is very behind and we don’t have much of a system in place.’
She said she got a test because she showed the symptoms and she is a confirmed case. Rachel added: “Receiving a test that shows you’re positive doesn’t really do much. It’s not like you receive a specific medication once positive so please, if you have any symptoms but can’t find a test please just treat yourself as if you are positive (you most likely are).”
She listed her symptoms through the week, which included ‘sore throat, fatigue, headache, etc.’
