American singer Carrie Underwood shared an update about her family during the deadly tornado in Nashville.
A deadly tornado tore through Nashville and resulted in some terrifying moments for her husband and two young children.
The singer is currently in New York for the promotion of her book ‘Find Your Path’. She revealed that when the deadly tornado hit the Nashville her husband Mike Fisher took their two sons to the basement. She has two sons named Isaiah,5, and Jacob 1.
The singer revealed that in her house there was a safe room. She appeared in the episode of TODAY where she said: “He said he had to go upstairs at like 2 a.m. and grab the boys and taken them down to, we have a little safe room in our house.”
Underwood explained. “I bet everybody was crying.”
At least 19 people were killed across four counties, and Tennessee has declared a state of emergency.
