A woman and her 19-month-old baby were on the bus when a shocking incident happened. The little girl was crying when a bus passenger shouted at a little girl and hit her on the back of her head.
Little girl’s mother was sat next to her daughter during the assault. The baby girl was in a pushchair and she was crying. Man hit her because of crying onboard on the 29 bus from Luton town center to nearby St Margaret’s Avenue.
The assault took place on February 4 at around 2.30 pm. Police released the CCTV footage and are trying to capture the man in the CCTV images.
PC Carolyn Hoare, from Bedfordshire Police, said: “This is a truly shocking incident where a baby was assaulted on a bus in broad daylight. We will not tolerate this kind of behavior in our county.”

An Arriva spokesman said: “We are aware of an incident that took place on one of our buses. We are assisting the relevant authorities with their ongoing investigation.”
