US rep. Rashida Tlaib encouraged the crowd of Bernie Sanders supporters to boo Hillary Clinton. Clinton said in a documentary series that ‘nobody liked’ Sanders who competed against her in the 2016 Democratic primary.
Tlaib was joining the panel discussion alongside Reps. Ilhan Omar and Pramila Jayapal when Clinton’s comments came up.
When the moderator Dionna Langford mentioned Clinton’s comment she said no: “I’ll boo.” Langford tried to stop the crowd and said: “We’re not going to boo. We’re not going to boo. We’re classy here.”
But the US representative didn’t stop there and said: “You all know I can’t be quite. No, we’re gonna boo. That’s all right, the haters will shut up on Monday when we win.”
