Nancy Pelosi, speaker of US house of representative tore up a copy of the state of the union speech of President Donald Trump shortly after the end of his speech in House chamber.
Before the speech, Trump gave his speech to Nancy. But before he concluded his remarks and republicans were praising him she stood up behind Trump and tore up his speech in half.
A source closed to Pelosi revealed that ripping up the copy of the speech was not planned she riped up because she was angry at his speech.
Earlier in the evening, when Trump reached the rostrum before starting his remarks, he did not shake Pelosi’s outstretched hand.
This incident showed the battle between two leaders and among members of the political parties.
Pelosi said she tore up the speech “because it was the courteous thing to do, considering the alternative.”
