In Mexico, a 25-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her husband. It was reported that the woman called the authorities 16 times asking for help before her death.
According to the multiple sources, the death of the woman named Vanesa Gaytán Ochoa was not stopped, despite her calling the authorities multiple times there was no action taken. Centro de Justicia para las Mujeres located in Jalisco, Mexico was contacted 16 times by the woman but the center failed to take immediate action causing the death of the victim.
On 13th April, the woman contacted the agency for the last time, Ochoa asked the agency for protection from her husband. Exactly 12 days after her last call to the center Ochoa lost her life in the hands of her husband named Irwin Emmanuel Ramírez Barajas.
Ochoa was with her husband during the day, she informed her lawyer about it. Her lawyer advised her to visit the mansion of the governor, she rode a cab there and her husband followed her. She had no idea about it
When Ochoa was standing outside the residence of the governor her husband hit her while riding his car, he then got out of the car and stabbed her until she lost her life.
The woman did everything she could to protect herself. a restraining order was already issued against her husband but he kept on violating it. The husband was shot immediately by a guard who was at duty on the mansion.
