Taylor Swift will no be able to perform at the 2020 Grammy Awards. The singer has planned the secretive appearance during the Awards ceremony but she canceled the performance over sexism allegation.
Swift recently revealed her eating disorder in her Netflix original documentary ‘Miss Americana’. She said: “It’s only happened a few times, and I’m not in any way proud of it. A picture of me where I feel like I looked like my tummy was too big. Someone said that I looked pregnant. That’ll just trigger me to just starve a little bit just stop eating.”
She was not scheduled to perform during the ceremony. But there is still a hope that she might show her performance.
She is nominated in three categories this year, including song of the year for ‘Lover.’ She will attend the ceremony but won’t perform.
“It’s not confirmed whether her exit directly related to the scandal involving the allegations flying back and forth between the Academy trustees and ousted CEO Deborah Dugan.”
“Grammy insiders say female artists are set to hit out at alleged sexism at the Grammys this Sunday. This claim made the event uncomfortable for female artists.”
