Washington Post reporter Felicia Sonmez was suspended after tweeting a 2016 story recalling rape allegations against Kobe Bryant just hours after his death.
The newspaper lifted her suspension during the Twitter storm. The Washington Post posted on Twitter. Post says: “Felicia Sonmez was ‘not in clear and direct violation of our social media policy,’ but maintained that her tweets were ‘ill-timed’. We consistently urge restraint, which is particularly important when there are tragic deaths.”
Sonmez slammed that her employers are not handling the issue properly.
