A woman named Winnie who had been living for around a year on the street of Liverpool died after being attacked.
Winnie was an Irish woman who died last night. It was reported that she has been attacked shortly before her death. Campaigners have been left devastated after hearing of the death of a homeless woman who was living on the streets of Liverpool.
Michelle Langan started a Papercup Project charity. The aim of this project is to provide food and other basic necessities to homeless people.
The team of Michelle was on the round last night when they found that Winnie died.
Ms. Langan said: “Last time I saw her was waking her up on Christmas Day in the doorway of Next. She was an older lady and she was very loud and opinionated. All of the homeless knew her. She was a real character.
“When we woke her on Christmas morning she said she wasn’t bothered that it was Christmas Day. She said she had lost a child on Christmas Day. So it wasn’t a day she celebrated,” she added.
Ms. Langan tweeted: “Another lady is telling us how Winnie was beaten up and ended up in the hospital. She was in a bad way. If this is true, it really is horrific.”
Michelle said that she wants that Winnie will be remembered by everyone.
