Greta Thunberg urged world leader to listen to young people

Swedish Activist, Greta Thunberg attended the world economic forum in Davos. She urged world leaders to listen to young people on Tuesday.

She inspired the young generation of activists to attend the World economic forum in Davos this year.

On the first day of the WEF, she speaks to the audience at a panel session titled “Forging a Sustainable Path Towards a Common Future”. She said: “I’m not a person that can complain about not being heard. The science and voice of young people is not the center of the conversation, but it needs to be.”

Greta said nothing has changed since she started protesting about the climate 18 months ago.

“Pretty much nothing has been done. Global emissions of CO2 have not been reduced and that is what we are trying to achieve.” Greta said at a panel Davos on Tuesday.

She added: “These numbers also don’t include most feedback loops, nonlinear tipping points, nor additional warming hidden by toxic air pollution. Without treating this as a real crisis we cannot solve it and we cannot solve it from a holistic view.”
