Another case of deadly coronavirus has been confirmed in the US as US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed.
A woman diagnosed with the virus. She was in her 60s and she is the resident of Chicago. She recently returned from Wuhan. During her flight, she was not ill. Health authorities do not think she spread the virus at that time.
Health authorities said that she limited contact since she came from Wuhan. She has not used public transportation, attended large gatherings. She is in isolation at a hospital in Chicago and is in stable condition.
Health officials are examining 12 people across the country for the coronavirus.
This includes 2 students who are examined for the coronavirus. One person being tested is a male student who recently traveled from Wuhan, China. Another student is being tested is a student at Tennessee Tech University.
At least 850 cases were confirmed worldwide of coronavirus. China reported 830 cases, the US has one case, Thailand 5 cases, South Korea 2 cases, Hong Kong 2 cases, Taiwan and Japan 1 case, Vietnam and Macau have 2 cases and Singapore reported 3 cases so far.
The US announced that they are withdrawing most of its diplomats and their families from the consulate general in Wuhan.
