In West Virginia, a father strangled his daughter to death. The man has been charged with his daughter’s murder after he showed authorities how he strangled her using a teddy bear.
During his court interview, Jeffrey Hoskins showed the Jackson county sheriff’s office that how he strangle the little girl in their ripely home.
The incident took place in October 2018, and the little girl was only 6 months old at that time.
Chief Deputy Ross Mellinger said: “The child had a significant bruising under her chin, on her arms and legs. Upon finally speaking with Mr. Hoskins, he confessed to the strangulation of the child in which she had died from these injuries”.
The child’s father was detained and charged with child abuse. Later he told the authorities that the child choked when he was feeding her.
Ross Mellinger further said: “In a subsequent interview with the suspect, Jeffery Hoskins confessed to not only strangling the child but attempting on four previous occasions to smother the child.”
He further continued: “Through the medical testing at the hospital, along with the opinion of the doctors there, and combined with Mr. Hoskins confession itself, suggests that there were multiple occasions prior to this one here where the baby was smothered or assaulted by the same father.”
The official told that that baby was on life support for 15 months but died earlier this week. murder indictment has been granted for Mr. Hoskins by a grand jury.
