21-year old Chinese student isolates herself in dorm room after getting coronavirus symptoms

A 21-year old Chinese student has been diagnosed with deadly coronavirus. She traveled back from Wuhan on January 23.

Students at a Sydney university where a classmate was diagnosed with coronavirus say they are too afraid to go back to class.

She developed flu-like symptoms when she gets off the plane. When she visited the hospital she diagnosed with coronavirus. She confined herself in her dorm room at the University of NSW.

Almost 6 people were diagnosed with coronavirus and it is suspected that 16 more were affected by the virus in Australia.

The outbreak of coronavirus killed almost 103 people and infected more than 6,000 around the world. UNSW students feared that they are the next victim of coronavirus after their classmate was diagnosed with the virus.

Some students skip their classes, and some insisted on the university to postpone the orientation session. Students wrote on social media: “Please cancel I don’t wanna die at UNSW,’ one student wrote.

“Well I guess I’m just going to defer this semester,” another wrote.
