26-year old Lisa Bovington, from Doonside in western Sydney, behaved oddly after being woken up by the noise of children. She threatened her mom and sister with a knife because children in her house were making noise while opening presents.
Magistrate Robert Rabbidge told Court: “She took a knife to a family member because children had opened their presents while she was asleep.”
He said to the court that Lisa was sleeping throughout Christmas morning. It was natural that children were making noise while opening presents.
Lisa was arrested by police and hr application of bail was refused. Bovington remained in the custody of police till January 6.
The young mother was charged with two counts of the stalk and threaten the family and cause fear. She also charged for using weapons with an intention to commit an illegal offense.
