Ashley LeMay, a mother of 3, has released a shocking video of Hacker who is chatting to her 8-year old daughter through a Ring Security Camera in her bedroom. Ashley is a nurse who bought the Smart Camera during Balck Friday sale after thorough research. She said that a friend of hers also recommended this.
Ashley installed the camera in the bedroom of her daughter to keep an eye on them during her night shift in the hospital.
When she installed the camera her 8-year old daughter Alyssa complain that she heard strange voices and music in her room. The footage of Alyssa shows what happened when she heard the voice and said: “Who is that?”
In the video as soon as little girl inquires who is that? Then a male voice replies: “I’m your best friend. I am your best friend Santa Claus. Don’t you wanna be my best friend.”
When Alyssa’s parents watched the footage they disconnect the camera. Ashley said: “They could have watched them sleeping, changing. I mean they could have seen all kinds of things. Honestly, my gut makes me feel like it’s either somebody who knows us or somebody who is very close by.”
Ashley requests everyone not to buy Ring camera.
Ashley shared a post on Instagram to answers the queries of people.
The family released this video to warn other parents. Ring representative said that they are inquiring why this happened. They said that sometimes customers reuse their credentials and the hacker easily hack the devices.
They advise other customers to use two-factor authentication to avoid these issues. Investigators and ring administration are looking for hackers.
