Ayesha Shakya won two gold medals in Day 2 of 13th SAG

Nepali athletes dominate the arena of the second day of the 13th South Asian Games in Kathmandu. Nepali athletes had the most wins in taekwondo and karate.

Ayesha Shakya from Nepal is the wife of Dipak Bista and a mother of two sons, Ayesha is the two times gold medalist on Day 2 of 13th SAG. Ayesha overpowered the Indian opponent and won a gold medal in the 29 age category of taekwondo Poomsae.

In badminton, Nepal won another gold medal due to reliable pair of Ayesha Shakya and Sanjib Kumar Ojha who were victorious in the above 29 category of pair Poomsae.

Many other Nepali athletes dominated the arena such as Sina Baden won a gold medal in 23-27 category of individual women Taekwondo Poomsae. Parbati Gurung won a gold medal in the age of 23-29 category of Taekwondo Poomsae.
