The 21 years old south Korean girl, Inyoung You, who was the ex-student of Boston college blamed for provoking her boyfriend, who was depressed, to commit suicide has pleaded not guilty.
Inyoung’s boyfriend Alexander Urtula who was 22 years old ended his life by jumping off a parking garage on May 20. His graduation ceremony was to be held on May 22, a few hours after his death.
According to the prosecutors, Inyoung emotionally abused Alexander and asked him to end his life and she was also there when Alexander jumped off a building.
But the public relations firm who was representing her released the conversation of Inyoung and Alexander before he ended his life in which Inyoung You was urging her boyfriend to “Stop” because Alexander Urtula told her that he is leaving everyone.
Alexander wrote to her that he is going far away at a tall place and he’s not going to be there for long. And said, “I’m leaving everyone”. In a reply to Alexander’s message, Inyoung asked him three times in a single message to ” STOP”
On Friday morning at her Tial Inyoung pleaded not guilty through her lawyer and the bail was set at $5000 cash.
A family member of Alexander said since losing Alexander the Urtula Family is heartbroken and pain of losing him is still fresh for his loved ones. He further said that the family will not make any public comment at this time.
