Shakira disclosed that losing voice was the saddest moment for her

Shakira Isabel, Star singer, and songwriter from Columbia wasn’t able to sing two years ago because of a hemorrhage that disturbed her vocal cords. She expresses now that it was the worst time she had ever gone through.

The 42-year-old Super Star revealed while being in an interview at Barcelona, where she is living with her small family, Gerard Pique, who is a footballer from Spain and their two young boys. The “Waka Waka” singer states that losing her voice was just like she was losing her existence. She believes that her voice is her identity, it is something that she inherits. She can never take her voice for granted.

Shakira was always of the belief that things come and go, one day she won’t have her youth, she might lose her friends, her beauty, you lose so many things in life, but she never thought of losing her voice.

In Nov 2017, Shakira was compelled to defer her Eldorado world tour because of complications with her voice. But it was a miracle, she got her voice back naturally, she didn’t need to go through any surgical procedure as was suggested by the doctors.

Finally, in 2018 she was able to carry out her 7 months delayed tour. The world tour was based on shows she gave in Los Angeles and it included the hits she performed around the world. The star admits that this tour was one of the most important and best trips of her life as she had to go through many hurdles fulfilling that tour.

The pop and rock star of America has given several hits to her fans that include “Hips don’t lie”, “the Waka Waka song” and “Whenever Whenever”. She is also going to be seen with Jennifer Lopez at the show of Super Bowl Championship in Miami on 2nd Feb 2020, which is the Columbian singer’s birthday as well. This half time show during the finale of tournament showcases some of the best artists from the world. Last year, it gathered 98.2 M audiences.
