Pink receives the People’s Champion 2019 award

Pink Delivers Powerful Speech as She Becomes the People’s Champion 2019. The people have spoken and named her as their Champion for the year 2019.

The American singer-songwriter was honored with the accolade for her humanitarian efforts at the 45th E People’s Choice Awards 2019 held on 10th November in Santa Monica, California.

She delivered a moving acceptance speech praising the work of those that came before her, shedding light on renowned figures like Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King Junior, Anita Hill, and Greta Thunberg.

In her speech, Pink talked about fighting for humanity and saving the planet, motivating youth to step up and do their part to make the world a better place to live. She wanted the people to feel like they mattered and know that one man has the ability to bring change and make a difference.

She continued by adding, “There is so much to be done. I don’t care about your politics. I care about your kids, about decency and kindness”.

She talked about the underprivileged and pressed upon the matter saying that they needed our help and support so that they could grow and prosper and aid in creating a better community. There needs to be peace, individuals need to learn to love and accept those that think differently. Those who do not share the same views as you do are not to be ridiculed but to be understood and appreciated.

Pink even tweeted about winning the champions award and said she is grateful to receive the People’s Champion award and she thanked her fans followers friends and family saying that this award is for each one of them.

The 40-year-old Grammy winner has been a UNICEF ambassador since 2015 and supports organizations like “Make a Wish” and “No Kid Hungry”. Her family also participates in charitable activities as Pink’s daughter was known to be raising money for the people of Haiti in 2017.
