K-pop singer Goo Hara left ‘pessimistic’ note, police reveal

South Korean K-pop group Kara’s former member Goo Hara found dead at her home in Seoul. A day after her death Seoul police announced that she left a ‘Pessimistic’ note.

Lee Yong-Pyo, Commissioner of the Seoul Police, told journalists: “A note was found on a table of the living room.” He said: “There is nothing we can share about the content of the note.”

A source from the Seoul Gangnam Police Station said, “After considering factors such as testimony from the deceased’s family and the situation at the scene, it was decided an autopsy will not be carried out as there are no suspicions of criminal activity.”

Police further said that according to CCTV footage she came back home on November 24 at about 12:35 AM. So it is confirmed that she died after this. Police also said that after 12 no one visited her home. At about 6 PM her housekeeper found her dead.

Police said that Hara was close to her housekeeper and she visited her because she called Hara but she didn’t respond.

Fans are overwhelmed with the news of Hara’s death. Her friends and colleagues cancel their plans and sent sympathies.

In June she was found comatose in her home and she was admitted to hospital. That’s when she said that she was fighting with depression.

Hara joined the K-pop group Kara in 2008. When her contract with the agency was completed she started a solo profession in Japan.
