Court grant bail to Maryam Nawaz

Representative PMLN and daughter of EX-PM, Ms. Nawaz satisfied the requirements set out by the High Court of Lahore and it has permitted her bail on a few specific terms this Monday. The bail orders were given by a bench led by Magistrate Ali Najafi in the case of Chaudhary Sugar Mills.

Geo News reveals that officials from Kot Lakhpat Jail have forwarded the bail orders to be signed by Ms. Maryam to the hospital.

The attorneys of NAB Pakistan debated over the application for bail of PMLN’s head.

Earlier in the month of October, PMLN’s President and Pakistan’s EX-PM was also approved bail by the High Court of Islamabad regarding his imprisonment under the Al Azizia case. Mian Sahab was hospitalized due to severe illness and Ms. Maryam filed an appeal for her bail since Mian Sahab got hospitalized.

Maryam is approved for bail on specific terms. The laws have demanded from her passport, 2 bonds are to be submitted of10M each, and 70M amount to be deposited with Registrar. She must assure the legalities of “Judicial Integrity”, to settle down the doubts and apprehensions of prosecutors that she won’t be escaping out of the country.
