Former captain of Pakistan women’s team Sana Mir has decided to take a break from international cricket. She said that she decided to take a break because she wanted to plan her future objectives and goals.
Sana Mir said: “I have decided to take a break from international cricket and, as such, will not be available for selection for next month’s series against England. I will utilize this time to plan and reset my future objectives and targets.”
She added: “My best wishes will remain with the Pakistan national women’s team in the series against England and I am sure they’ll produce their best cricket.”
She decided to miss the upcoming ICC women’s championship ODIs and T20s against England in Kuala Lumpur.
She didn’t specify the period of her break.
