University College London has announced a new strategy on October 19 (today) to eradicate fossil fuels by the end of 2019. Aliza Ayaz the youngest speaker from Pakistan was requested to speak at University College London. She emphasized the various aspects of the Positive Climate Campaign & the Student engagement experience.
She said that she didn’t the only one who is involved in this campaign. People of different backgrounds, origins, and different interests work for this issue. She said thanks to the team at UCL who are contributing to the fossil-free environment.
Aliza address 150 academics at The UCL Student Center she said: “This is a Strategy that celebrates comprehensive climate action & proactive, collaborative sustainable change. I am very pleased that so many students were involved in developing the strategy for a Sustainable UCL.”
Aliza Ayaz studied at the Karachi grammar school. She joined UCL in 2017 to study global health. She founded the climate action society. She said that she chooses population health sciences because she saw how climate change slowly affecting our physical and mental health. But she said that she is happy because various strategies were made to cope up with this climate change.
