US presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren expressed concern over the serious situation in the occupied Kashmir. She urged India to value the right of Kashmiris.
Recently she shared a post on her official twitter account in which she said: “The US-India relationship has always been embedded in our democratic shared values. I am worried about the recent condition in IOK, including communication shutdown and other boundaries. The rights of Kashmiris should be appreciated.”
Elizabeth is a democrat from Massachusetts. She was voted as a senator in the US senate in 2012. In 2019, she declared that she will take part in the 2020 presidential elections as a candidate. Elizabeth is the 2nd most powerful US candidate to raise voice for innocent Kashmiris.
The Indian government has eliminated the independence of innocent Kashmiris on August 5. India sends almost ten of thousands of forces to inflict a curfew in IOK. Indian forces halted the politicians of Kashmir. More than 4,000 individuals have been detained since August 5 comprising144 minors.
