The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge is a day away from their touchdown in Pakistan. The royal couple is programmed for a visit to the country for a period of 4 days starting from October the 14th to October the 18th. The members of the British Royal Family have been requested by the UK’s Foreign & State Office to do so in order to bridge the divide & create cordial relations between the two countries. This may prove to be the perfect opportunity for both the states as both Britain and Pakistan have had bitter-sweet old ties.
Prince William & Kate Middleton will meet with PM IK & President Arif Alvi on Oct 15th from there they will then leave for Lahore, travel to Chitral on the 17th and return to Britain on Oct 18th.

After meeting with officials the Royalties are looking forward to spending time with young Pakistanis, learning & hearing about their ambitions and upcoming dreams. The feelings are mutual as citizens of the country are eagerly awaiting to catch a glimpse of the royal couple & have shown their excitement in various ways.
Fashionistas are curious to know whether Kate Middleton will take wardrobe inspiration from the late Lady Diana who added the national flower jasmine in her look and incorporate traditional designs, bright colors and delicate patterns in her clothing. A representative has said that Pakistani stylists like HSY and Asim Jofa might get to dress the royal in Pakistani fabric.
Others are interested for the Duke & Duchess to delve into Pakistani culture and taste Pakistani cuisine. British Pakistanis want them to try exquisite food items, spicy “biryani” being the popular choice among other suggestions such as sticky “payee” and popular breakfast of “Anda paratha” with “chai”.
For the cultural experience rickshaw drivers plan to welcome and surprise the British Royals by painting their vehicle in vibrant bold colours & creating an artwork of intricate patterns and peacocks along with the flags of Pakistan and Britain representing unity among the two states.
Both the countries hope that the official visit will blossom a long-lasting and beautiful friendship between Pak & Britain.
