Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle shared a video on Instagram on the International Day of the girl. Meghan persuades girls to move on, keep asking questions and keep shining brightly.
In the video, she said: “Today is the day international day of girl and every girl has talent, she has an aptitude, she has the right to study, the right to be heard, and the right to play. The right to be exactly who she is. It is said that girls with dreams become women with more vision. She asks the girl to know your worth and move forward.”
In the video, there was a television report of Meghan as a child in which she combats gender inequality in a commercial and she stresses the importance of letter writing and asks the girl to write letters and send it to the right individuals.
The international day of the girl’s rights is the initiative of the UN to address the gender inequality issues prevailing across the world. Lack of approach to schooling, enforced child wedding, authorized or medical disparity and viciousness on females, these all are issues faced by women all over the world.
This day is celebrated all around the world to support girls to know their rights and raise voice against any kind of unfairness.
Duchess of Sussex has been a supporter of girls’ and females’ privileges. At the age of 11, Meghan fought against a sexist commercial. Your age doesn’t matter if you want to do something you can do it at any age.
