A British teen Harry Dunn, who was 19 years old, came across an accident in Northampton shire on August 27 and died in that hit. According to police, the liability is on the opposite side. The person in the car, Ms. Anne Sacoolas, 42 years of age, who is the spouse of a U.S Envoy, was driving the wrong way when she bumped into a boy’s motorcycle.
Initially, Ms. Sacoolas did collaborate with the police regarding the car crash case. But afterward, without guaranteeing the police of further assistance from her side, she left the U.K, and took refuge under U.S embassy protection, because of her husband’s standing in the state. And now in the U.S, it has become quite impossible for the media to connect with Sacoolas.
Dunn’s family, now under these conditions have started a drive on #JusticeForHarry and are going to take this drive to the United States; tweeted Radd Seiger, the family’s lawyer. He revealed to the media that Dunn’s parents will be doing a press conference in the U.S on Monday probably.
Mr. and Mrs. Dunn have been trying on establishments to relinquish the safety that Ms. Sacoolas is having in the U.S. But unfortunately, the petition has been rejected. This matter has now reached the higher powers of the United States.
U.S President Donald Trump also came in and gave his views over the case of Dunn’s death, and assured assistance from his administration. The foreign secretaries of both countries also conversed on the issue on a phone call. And the U.S envoy to the U.K, Woody Johnson also consoled with the Dunn’s family and friends.
Dunn’s parents expressed their grievances to the local media and pleaded help and justice from Trump as earlier as possible. The mother got quite emotional in her comments which were quite natural. She wants Ms. Sacoolas to know that as she herself is a mother too, she should better understand that she has shattered a family.
The family is feeling helpless, as they could not mourn over the demise of their son properly because of the complications of the case. The family has demanded from the women to come out of the legal protection which she is getting from the U.S régime and collaborate regarding the case.
