Couple killed for honor in Peshawar

Police recovered the bullet-riddled bodies of a couple in Peshawar’s Bara River on Sunday. The couple fell victim to honor killing because they got married against the will of their families.

Recently families of victims held a meeting in order to resolve the matter, but they killed a couple and throw them in the river.

Police said that the families of both victims are unwilling to file the case, but the case has been recorded against ‘unknown culprit’. Police said that the inquiry is in progress.

Many incidents were occurred in the past few years because of honor killing in Pakistan. In September two females and three peoples were murdered in the name of honor in Mardan.
