American soccer player Megan Rapinoe selected for Ballon D’Or award show

American soccer player Megan Rapinoe is selected for women’s Ballon D’Or award show which is to be held in Paris on 2nd December 2019.

Other selected players are England’s Lucy Bronze, Ada Hegerberg, Sarah Bouhaddi, Wendie Renard, Dzenifer Marozsan & Amandine Henry.

Rapinoe led the US to win in France in July as she scored the highest points and was the most voted player in the tournament.

She also turned down President Trump’s summon in the White House after the triumph of the US team adding she would only go if she were being inaugurated.

In the ceremony 4 awards will be given to the best men’s & females player and other Kopa trophy will be given to under 21s and the new award will be introduced by the title Yashin Trophy for the goalkeepers.

Awards will be given after the procedure of polling and 180 reporters from different countries will also be there at the award show.
