New York police have identified the women who climbed the fence of the lion dens at Bronx zoo. The police want help from people to trace her.
On Saturday Myah Autry shared a video of herself in which she climbed the walls of the zoo, after climbing she started dancing and waving at the lion.
In the video, the lion seems to gaze at the women while being too shocked to take any further action. The lion took a few steps towards the women but she seemed unaffected by the lion.
Myah said in the video that she wants to get closer to the lion. As she climbed the wall she goes hi baby, I love you! And waves to the lion before she begins dancing.
Police stated that last week Myah also illegally entered into the area where a giraffe was kept. Myah posted her pictures on social media with police officers after encountering the lion.
The Bronx zoo didn’t seem fascinated and commented after the video went viral that this woman put herself in danger.
“This action taken by the women is a serious violation and illegal trespass that could have resulted in serious injury or even death” they further added “ that barriers are in the place so that everyone including visitors, staff, and animals stay safe. They said that they have a zero-tolerance policy on the violation of barrier or trespassing.”
In the following incident, fortunately, the women and the lion both were unharmed. Newyork police tweeted that Myah is wanted for criminal trespassing and anyone who knows about her whereabouts can contact them.
