Greta Thunberg is a teen climate activist, about half a million school children, teenagers, and adults joined great at a rally in Montreal, they all marched together as a part of a movement of worldwide climate strikes on Friday.
One of the organizers named François Geoffroy stated to the people in the rally that this event is not only one of the biggest event in Quebec’s history but this event is also one of the biggest events happened in the world this week.
Police have not officially stated anything about it yet.
Earlier this week Justin Trudeau the prime minister of Canada also said that he would join this rally and march with thousands of other Canadian to “fight for the environment”
He further said that “ there has been an extraordinary amount of mobilization by young people, and by Canadians across this country and indeed around the world, calling for real action on climate change”
The schools, colleges, and universities canceled the classes to promote this action and the government also encouraged their staff to take the day off to join the rally.
Earlier this week on Monday, Greta accused the world leaders with a How dare you? speech at the United Nations Climate summit of betraying her generation.
She said angrily with tears in her eyes that “ you have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words”
The teenager with her strong determination has stimulated millions of young generation to protest.
