England wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor retires from international cricket

England women cricket star announced her retirement from international cricket because of health issues. She suffers from anxiety. She is a wicket-keeper known for her outstanding performance.

She is the world best-talented wicketkeeper in the history of the game. 30-year-old cricketer appeared in almost 226 matches and made 6533 international runs. She is on the number second on the list of scores. She made her international debut in 2006.

During her career, she played an important role in the England ladies victory. These wins include the world cup and T20 accomplishment in 2009. One of the important victories is when she brought the world cup to home in 2017.

Because of her mental health, she missed many series. She said: “This has been a tough decision for her to quit but she said right now this is right that she retires from cricket.”

“She thanks her teammates and ECB and Wales cricket board for their support in her long journey. Furthermore, she said that playing for England and wearing the shirt for a long time has been a dream of her which come true.”

Clare Connor the managing director of ECB admire Taylor. She said that Sarah is an inspiration for youth. She praised her audacity. She also thanks her for her contribution to England cricket for 13 years. She wished her luck for her future.
