The government of Canada starts the Women Empowerment Strategy (WES), to empower women. It is a $2billion investment in which the ratio of women-owned business increase by 2025.
Minister of small business and promotion and the representative of École des entrepreneurs du Québec joined local women entrepreneurs to celebrate women’s entrepreneurship in Canada. The main purpose of this program is to empower women.
Through the WES ecosystem fund $3.2 million investment will be given by an organization École des entrepreneurs du Québec, the organization which helps in building entrepreneurial skills. This organization provides an innovative and collaborative learning environment.
Through this Women Empowerment Strategy government of Canada moves towards gender equality. The effort includes addressing the pay equity, kid care and eradicate gender biases.
