10 undocumented immigrant was detained by US patrol agent they are traveling in a white minivan. They were arrested near the Luna country border town of Columbus.
Evelyn limas, 33 of casa grande was reportedly driving the van on Westbound on New Mexico state road 9 when she was arrested.
When police started inquiring her she said she was an Uber driver and she carrying those who are inside the car. The watch agent said that she is doubtful because the direction which she was telling was not right she was traveling in the reverse route of Ruidoso.
When police questioning those who are inside the car they all said that they were from Mexico not from the US. Police capture limas and all those immigrant. Limas was involved in illegal transport of immigrant.
She said she agreed to pay $7000 to be trafficked to Tennessee. She supposedly made a down compensation of $800 with a promise to pay rest when she reaches the last stop.
Limas told that she was living in a ‘stash house’ Juarez Mexico along with 17 others to be waiting for someone who took them to the US.
She said that a man in a black car picked her and 9 others and brought them to US-Mexico border. The driver told the group to leave for the nearby highway.
Furthermore, she said when they reached a highway a car move toward them and they all are entered in the car. When this happens a border agent got a call that a large number of immigrant was transported from US-Mexico border.
