Hannah Green’s first triumph on the LPGA visit

Hannah Green shocked the golfing world on Sunday in the wake of winning her first real title at the Women’s PGA Championship in Minneapolis.

Green shot a 72 for a 9-under aggregate of 207 to win by one shot over world No 4 and safeguarding champion Sung Hyun Park of South Korea.

The 22-year-old is only the third Australian lady to ever win a noteworthy golfing title. Stephenson & Karrie Webb are the main other ladies to do as such. Webb was the last Australian to win an LPGA Tour major in 2006.

This is the first run through Green has challenged a noteworthy, demonstrating her future in the game is brilliant and just barely starting.

“I’m essentially confused,” said Green, who was overpowered with feeling after the success. “It truly is dreamlike. I’ve for the longest time been longing to win before an Aussie swarm and despite the fact that I’m not in Australia, it resembled that today.”

Green was positioned 114th in the world before this week. She entered the competition without having had a main 10 complete since a streak in February and March, when she exceeded expectations at the Women’s Australian Open coming tenth, second at the Australian Ladies Classic & eighth at the Canberra Classic.

The 22-year old turned skillful in 2016 and was named Rookie of the Year in 2017.
