Dr. Jacqui Romero is a specialist in encoding data of photons a basic unit of all light. It is the smallest discrete amount or quantum of electromagnetic radiation. She is a research physicist at the University of Queensland.
Dr. Romero is keen on utilizing the state of light and joining with the principles of quantum material science for use in secure correspondences.
Dr. Romero along with Dr. Meru Sheel was granted the Westpac research fellowship. Both ladies will receive $1million in combined funding for over three years to advance their research work. After receiving this fellowship her effect as an innovator in her field was perceived.
Romero considers this as a chance to grow her career both inside and outside of the scholarly world and have an extensive discussion outside material sciences.
Data security is at the peak of our mindfulness. She said that she considers this fellowship as a chance to have a more extensive discussion outside material science. Any new innovation has various aspects, I’d like to see the greatest number of as I can.”
In an interview, she said that she wanted to be a physicist since she was 15 years of age. She said that a variety prompts efficiency.
