A female newscaster Mitali Chandola was shot by anonymous males in East Delhi’s Vasundhara Enclave. She was left injured in her vehicle, the police force said.
This incident happened at 12.30 a.m at the point when Mitali was driving her Hyundai i20 vehicle. Assailants blocked her vehicle and discharged two gunshots planning to murder her. She got two gunshots wound on her arm but she is out of danger now.
Jasmeet Singh deputy commissioner of cop said that: “At first sight, it gives an impression of being an instance of family debate.”
Before getting away, the assailants tossed eggs on her vehicle’s windows to stop Mitali from noting down their car number.
“Mitali called the police and she is now admitted in Dharamshala sanatorium. Doctors said that she is now safe. Her state is said to be steady,” the cop said.
She is currently employed as a reporter in news channel situated in Noida.
Police said that they are doing their best to arrest those assailants. The examination is in progress to capture aggressors, police said. The police are likewise examining whether any group that is involved in burglarizing were engaged with the assault or not.
